At Te Uru Karaka Newton Central School we value any contribution whānau make to our kura. The money we raise from our community all go back into our kura.
We are on a journey of enhancing our environment so your contribution goes towards the following areas of the kura:
- Ngahere restoration: we are in the process of establishing the layers needed in a forest so we use your contribution to plant ground cover, plants and trees.
- Repair different areas of our kura: from decks to fencing.
- Classroom resources for our structured literacy approach.
Our current fund-rasing goals are:
- $20,000 to get our court painting upgraded.
- $20,000 to purchase the next set of structured literacy resources.
- Upgrading our P.E. equipment.
If these are areas you would like to support us with, please contact Matua Bryan.
