The Newton Central School Raffle 2023 is compliant with Class 2 requirements of the Gambling Act 2003 and in particular, the Gambling Act (Lottery) Game Rules 2004.

By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
Tickets
Price per ticket is $20, limited to a maximum of 1,000 tickets.
Entry requirements
Raffle entry is by purchase of a ticket only. This raffle is open to New Zealand Residents only. Members of the Newton Central School PTA are excluded from winning. By entering the draw, winners confirm their agreement to have their name published in Newton Central School communication channels.
Prizes
Prizes are not transferrable for cash.
Vouchers are valid for the time specified on the voucher.

Closing date
The closing date for purchasing of tickets is Sunday 18th June 2023 at 5pm.

Raffle draw
The winning entries will be selected from all entries received by the closing date and prizes will be awarded in order of selection. Only tickets for which full payment has been received will be eligible to win a prize.
The winner will be drawn on Wednesday 21st June at 3:30pm at Newton Central School, 15-17 Monmouth St, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021. The draw is open to the public. The winner will be drawn under the supervision of the School Principal. The person named on the Raffle ticket stub will be the only person entitled to the prize.
Notification of winners
The winners will be notified within 7 working days of the draw date either by telephone or email. The winner’s names will be published on the Newton Central School website and in the school newsletter. In the event that we cannot contact the winner(s) within 28 days after the draw, the prize(s) will be awarded to a new winner(s).
