A Manu Tāiko is a bird acting as a sentry for the flock, often sitting in the middle and guiding, leading and looking out for the flock. This sentry bird then drops back and another bird steps up and into the role of sentry for a time. This metaphor captures the mahi and style of our senior leadership team.
